Market Tour: Experience Korean Home Remedies

Lecturer: Hwang Jeong A

CEO, Tasty K

This lecture will provide an opportunity to explore the corners of  Kyungdong Market filled with varieties of seasonal produce and Seoul Yangnyeong Market which is the largest medicine herb market in Korea. With a docent tour guide, we will visit the Herb Medicine Museum and learn about Korea’s traditional oriental medicine. We will also look into Korean home remedies that have been passed down through generations and taste oriental teas often enjoyed in homes to understand Korea’s Yakshik Dongwon Culture, meaning that food itself can be all the medicine you need.
